Under the project of Civic Support of Law Enforcement Structures financed by the European commission, on may 6-8, in Bakuriani , Georgia , a seminar was held for representatives of Police Academy of Georgia, General Prosecutor's Office and mass media.
Organizers of the seminar were: ALPE Foundation and British Council. Clodagh Murphy, an expert of Media and Public Relations Department at the Police of Northern Ireland and Jean Mary Iokum, an expert invited by the Police Academy of Georgia delivered presenatoins on issues such as: planning/developing of public relations strategy.
ALPE's expert, Merab Basilaia presented an analysis of practice of crime reporting and legal journalism in Georgia .
The second day of the seminar was entirely dedicated to practical advice and recommendations based on various case studies.
